this isnt a myth - PM for discussion
Do these things affect the machine? Do they bring up the amount needed for backing?
All I know about this machine is that is an unforcable c*nt....take anything over £4 and go play something worthwhile...
Just wonder what the elusive feature is though???
Have you done one,TLT,or seen one done?![]()
ok folks - see superarcadia.co.uk for details. perhaps best not to post this site address on there as it'll be inundated with tits?
i kicked a post off there to see what was shaken out of the fruit tree as it were
slotter - ive seen quite a few monopoly with "pn hop balance £x to pay" and one specific one that i personally know was hit by the same person at least twice. he didnt leave it empty but it was damn soon after.
again, i'm not 100% sure its a trick but have heard from a normally reliable source in the industry that recalls and modifications have been carried out is haste and in quiet

n e clue on what feature they are on about. Without knowing the method pretty useless information on there
According to arcadia it's either some sort of fraud and/or problem with the note-changer.Sounds plausible.
there has def. been a problem with notechangers on some BFM monopoly machine. i know this for a fact from an acquaintance who works for gamestec (suppliers of fruit machines to pubs and arcades). but he either didnt know what it was or wouldnt tell me. as hes someone i know in passing rather than a mate i cant tell which
1st view
its a hardware fault whereby "clicking" or "sparking" a part of the machine can cause the notechanger facility to operate without any note being inserted.
clicking/ sparking is basically giving a machine a small electric shock. in decades past this used to work (i know ive done it! - although it was very hit and miss) by use of a cig lighter that used a piezo quartz element to provide the spark to ignite the gas. you could also use a gas oven lighter thing that also used piezo electric element (was also good for giving mates electric shocks)
i just find this a little hard to believe as proper earthing and use of non conducting materials such as plastic made this crude tactic redundant 10 years ago
2nd view
its a software fault whereby insertion of a note at a particular time causes the machine to think that more money has been put into the machine (the value of the note) than actually has.
there are other software possibilities - 1) inserting a note cancels a ?. ive tried it and its not true 2) inserting a note boosts the supermeter. i've tried it and its not true
i can see the feasibility of this but, it still sounds dubious
so does any1 have a final outcome, because i to TTL cant see how clicking it would work through plastic. how ever if any1 does find anythin out, plastering it all over superarcadia probably isnt the best idea.
