Usually a day of rest for me but last weekend I find myself in Nottingham with 3 hrs to kill...wander around the shops sniffing around for those last prezzies then find myself wandering into one of the city arcades. Being very wary of sharks and generally hit/dead machines I tested the water on a King Kebab....just after I put my first quid in I look down at the reels to see 3 red 7's and make a mental note to myself not to make the look before you leap mistake again. Anyway it's not all bad...the 11th quid starts backing so I press on and a few quid later get 10 cash knockouts for my jackie. No streak sadly. More wandering and I decide to play a Temple of Treasure for old times sake...backing from the start (strange) and I spend the next 45 mins blagging barcodes inbetween dead periods and have a £75 bank for about £90 in. Then I get pleasantly awakened by the red TOT feature out of the blue on a £1.20 feature exchange. It repeats to £75 and the machine i.o.u's for err..lots. Change flunky sorts me out and it's onto a Red Alert...only £3 and I blag the hiddens and hit lucky ladders and hit firemans lift...nice quick £15. The numbers quickly start to have a tantrum so I slide onto a Just the Ticket...also full...at this point I strongly suspect refill day on Sat eve but what the hell....couldn't be arsed risking the 5 tickets and hey...we are in a city centre arcade after all...no hope..so I hi/lo my way to £15 for the JP...all these things are happening before I've put a JP in so I'm slowly making a nice profit. I hit the Lo tecs - a dead Red hot Roll on £25 followed by a full boring hit and hope bar x (refill day..it had to be). A few more nip and tucks see me out of the door with around a ton more to my name than I went in with. Nice suprise that..and no sharks.
Must ask Mr Holland if he'll by some old TOT's for my local...ha ha.
Confucius say "man who know wombat know more than stupid looking monkey"
Confucius also say "man who know Kebab has 60 inch waist"
Confucius finally add "man may deal, but man may not 'know' deal"
