hi I am new to this site and forum ,

whats the low down on these infra red devices and what are they meant to achieve ???

also does any one out there actually use them with good results

whats the best way to learn the ropes without loseing my shirt ??

best way to start would be to read old posts, when you start play 5p machines as these should keep the amount that you may lose down to a min. you'll find most people on the forum are very helpful, they usually respond better if you ask politely but please make use of punctuation. it will stop ne more mini wars breakin out.

infra red (or any other) devices DO NOT WORK. anyone who says they do are either lying or stupid.

every now and then a machine is relased with a critical bug in its program that allows 'those in the know' to make money out the the machine every time. being bluntly honest the chances of you ever finding one of these tricks while its still current are so remote as to be incalcuable. if you are looking for simply easy ways to always turn a profit out of fruit machines then stop, think and quit playing NOW - it will only save you alot of money in the long run

the most important thing to remember is discipline. this is arguably more important than 'inside' info.

the second most important thing is to always repeat to yourself that a machine will only pay out when it is ready to. if someone the day beofre took £100 out of a machine it will make NO DIFFERENCE how much you put in - it will not give you back more than you've staked

the third thing is info - for that use the search facility. there is more info here and of a better quality than just about anywhere else. i would adivse against signing up to pay sites for 'secret knowledge' as they are all out to make bucks out of you . ANY decent info will not be released and much of it is cribbed off freee sites anyway

the fourth thing is risk. i dont know how old you are but do you really want to get seriously into a scene which is dying on its feet? 5 yrs ago easy money could be made - not any more. many seasoned pros are quitting, all are making alot less money (whatever you may hear). it takes yearts o make the contacts you'd need to do it full time and in between this time you'll lose a fortune - dont bother
if you're aiming to be a casual player with a bit of knowedlge then fine. set yourself a limit and dont go over it. think of it as a chance to win a few pints worth or lose a few please dont get the idea you'll make £25 JP every time

Best thing to do is to keep to what you know, play the machine u know best.

I could give you a few pointers, just give us a email or something.

don't be scammed into buying infra red devices. Ive nearly been scammed a couple of times, the first time was a mobile phone which was supposed to empty the machine, and those devices you see on ebay and other sites are just car keys. so be careful!

the keys DO work, but only what they were meant for... KEYING! lol so yer, they dont empty the machine (in some certain circumstances) but they do work by displaying stats and machine info.

other devices dont work, and rods/bars are illegal. see the 'forcing newbies first post' or one of stews vintage 'newbie threads' for more info
