What exactly does everyone say when they say to force a machine?

Hmmm well in theory a machine is meant to pay out a certain percentage..

You can manipulate this by either ignoring all wins till you get the JP or taking this one step further and forcing for the streak by not accepting any JPs for about £20 or so after the first JP offer (average).

This can cost only like £30 or so too get £75+ out but then again on some machines this does not work as they are more tightly coded.. I.E trying forcing Dosh and Pecks for a streak.. no chance.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.. best too know what you are doing and how to read the signs or you could end up down quite a bit..
Why has it come to this?

As a grey-bearded oldie who hasn't played the slots in years but is getting interested again, I'd like some help.

First, I undertstand the meaning of force. . . but how do you do it? If you get a win, how can you cancel it? Or do you just try to lose it? In other words, how do I use force?

Second, the only m/cs I have near me are: Cash Dash; Happy Fruits; Lord of the Rings, Side Splitter (or something similar). Anyone any hints or tips for playing any of these please.

    Thanks in advance

to force a machine you lose big time.......make sure you knock back anything but the jackie....even 24 quid, by manipulating the board, i.e. skill stop to lose etc, this MAY start the streak but then again maybe not there is no guarantee

Only certain M/C's can really be forced, typically these include Barcrests, Impulses, Vivids, Extreme's, Some Mazooma's, Some Bellfruits, Some Maygays, etc... Some of the newer JPM's can be, but be cautious.

In answer to how do you force a machine, all you have to do is play the machine as you normally would but push the board out until it either kills you or you get the Jackpot. Then if the percentage of the machine has been pushed back enough it may streak, but offering a jackpot board after or iM (invincible board) meaning you cant lose.

So, After a couple of years away from the slots, I got back on this morning at my local weatherspoons. They have three machines and I know they get played pretty heavilly, mainly by OAP munters, especially over the weekends. So I try Split Streak (?) for £1 and it drops into the hopper. On to the Jumping Jokers and, Lordy Be, it's backing. So I start playing and forcing all the way. Put £18 through and then go to the hole in the wall where I know I can hit a winner :)
Back to the boozer and start forcing again. There's a munter on the next machine who couldn't direct me to the toilets never mind which feature is best. So I put another £30 through and on a full board it offers me a jackpot at last. £25 but no repeat. I go forcing again but now its not backing. Eventually got another £10 out on red 7s and that goes back in as well. So that's £83 has gone through and zilch. Where did I go wrong?
