Now.. I'm not a munter by any stretch of the imagination but this will make you grin...
Upon my excitement of seeing a Duff Beer guide machine in town, I decided to have a butchers and go in. "One pint of Stella please mate". Suddenly, I remembered...On ****fruits, there is a 'quickie' hint for a JP(Blue bar in middle, stopnstep, let it time out for JP...).
Ahh...£50 in pound coins already from previous boozer. So, ons I go. Not dropping in first fiver so thinking...take a win and leave it. £15 later and I get my first board. Good start. Get chucked out on 2nd spin. Hmmm... God knows why but I carried on. That was the moment I regretted.
After sticking £30 in I thought.. "Well, I've had 5 boards and a max win offer of £3. Someone must have Jp'd it before me. Cant be that far of dropping now..." After £40 I get stopnstep and, Miraculously, Blue bar on middle reel. Let it time out... DOESN'T WORK!! (For one, ****fruits better remove their cheat from their site coz its giving 'FALSE INFORMATION'.)
Bugger, got to go for the JP now and hope for a streak to recoup losses.
Well, lets cut a long story short, £137 later woohoo first JP. Then, Absolutely no repeat, no red board, no £3 no NOTHING!! Puts a fiver of my 'WINNINGS' back in, chucked out on 2nd spin twice.
A total loss of £117. Not bad for 1 machines work.
Must have literally just been dumped for a LOT for the last person that was on it.
Bugger... Wish I had used my refill key!![]()

A refill key would be useless on SBG, it is a Maygay machine, & disables the hopper balance display + other refill key features via dip switch 14 on the CPU bank, I used to own this machine so know this for fact.
Also as for letting the Stop N Step time out on the blue bar, this does NOT guarantee a JP roll in, unless the machine is JP READY! I bet it either spun in the grape for the £1.60 or a cherry for a quid, this is standard operating procedure on SBG to stop it paying a JP out too soon, thus affecting percentage by paying big when not ready.
Also getting a JP does not usually trigger a streak, especially if set below 80%, a red board is VERY, VERY rare after a JP, unless the percentage is way off.
It sounds like the one you played had been hammered recently, & played since then by punters who kept it dead via collecting small wins of £2 - £4 to keep it at target percentage.
Sorry to hear about your loss, but I bet now you'll give this machine a lot more respect, & next time read the signs very carefully.
I never knew about the stop n step thing. It was ****fruits that told me it would work!
Yep m8, the SNS feature has had me off many a time in the wilds, even going back 3 years ago, so it's nothing new, i.e. rechip etc.
blame it on the stella m8. soon its gonna be called fruit machine beater.
You can also wedge the JP from a red bar on stop n step but again only when it's ready. Even the red lines will bounce sometimes off stop n step.
Confucius say "man who know wombat know more than stupid looking monkey"
Confucius also say "man who know Kebab has 60 inch waist"
Confucius finally add "man may deal, but man may not 'know' deal"
Ouch,nasty.
SBG is a clone of Spartacash and the SnS 'trick' was much more likely (and profitable) on the original. If your eyesight is good enough you should be able to hit it 'naturally'[!].It will cheat when it wants to though. Red lines never used to bounce,AFAIK.The later versions of SBG(with the different Maygay attract mode) are nasty and I avoid them-SnS doesn't only cheat more often-it is almost permanently blocked,in fact I haven't played one for over a year.We are talking about a clone of something that's over 5 years old, after all.
A pity, this was one of the *best* AWPs of recent years.
Not only were these profitable, they were actually amusing too.
I can tell you one thing. I WONT be going on it again, even if I watch someone shove £100 boff into it and it was dropping from the first quid!
Bastard.
