i was wondering if anyboby here has ever come across any empire machines and what experiences have you had with them. the ones near me are all set on 5p/£5jp.
whats it called i tend to stay away from if poss but there is always a few about and can rip
Most newer Empire machines are usually OK. Older ones like The Gambler, Treasure Trail and High Spirits can take a tenner and still won't let you get access to the feature, i.e. you'll get a crap number when you're one away from a feature exchange. They're usually good for maybe one JP and you can sometimes get nearly that amount from some low features like Slammer on High Spirits or Cash Snaps on The Gambler.
On the more recent The Big Cheese (nothing like Barcrest's one) it seems safer to actually gamble hi-lo on any number to move up on the board rather than by dice moves as you usually land on crappy squares and get nabbed by that pesky 'pussy'. Hope that's some help.
Oh, one more thing, their Paparazzi machine is pretty good, whether it's on a £5 or £25 JP. Often quite easy to get JP with a bit of skill and thought. Pity it's hard to find.
Don't say 'si'. Say 'oui'.
hey, i play all 5p/£5jp empire games... in my local there is gopher gold, hocus pocus, high spirits, buckaroo...
ever heard of them or play them weazel?

There used to be a way of manipulating the first chip on hi spirits when it was a £15 jackpot.Originally Posted by amesylad
