COuld say a really sarcastic reply but as im drunk it does certain things when it lights up (every blue moon it may slow a gamble down or hi/lo).

I will assume you are and give a true reply to add to the stupidness of this posting...

The Barcrest or Cancel button which they are using these days will do several things:
1) Allow upwards nudges- Dosh&Pecks/Fireball etc
2) Tell you which way to go on Hi/Lo- Spiker the Biker
3) Slow down repeaters- many machines
4) Slow down skillstops/taxi's

I cant think of any more but believe me there are more functions..

Maybe being an idiot here but....you say the barcrest button allows upwards nudging on fireball etc.. I take it that the button has to be flashing to allow this ?! As I have never seen it offer this in an eternity of playing fireball and all its clones..
