I am only 19 and play mainly for profit... I dont bother playing just for fun anymore as having a bit of fun on fruties usually results in me either forcing it or ending up heavily down..

Now days I just stick to the ones I know are really full (not refill) or I know a guaranteed method for.. I am however always willing to try for a new possible method but I dont invest any where as much as I used to in trying to figure out a machine...

If there is a machine I would like to know more about I will normally go halves with a mate and see what we can work out.. progression, forcing, streaks etc etc..
Why has it come to this?

...I'm also 32. I play for fun and make a profit on __some__ months only, but frankly less than the months of losses. I do apply some strict rules to gambling such that if I exceed a certain amount of money through the machines in one month then I don't allow myself any more. I also have this policy that I will only gamble if I have achieved a certin level of savings per month.

Guess what... I'm 32 as well! I used to play nearly every day when I first started playing the fruities back in '94. Nowadays I just go maybe 2 or 3 days a week. Normally if I win real quick in a pub/arcade/whatever I just bugger off pronto, only staying if I think some other machine is worth playing.

Well at 35 I guess I'm the old git.
Started playing about 14 years ago, played very intently for a few years...and now it looks to me as though I may just stop altogether very soon.

Overall I have made a tidy profit, but I've come to realize that if you only play to make money...there are much easier and less stressful ways to make it.

I certainly don't play for 'amusement' ,and I'm really beginning to wonder what the point of it is any more.
