first versions had a free win...........J/P from stop n step (was easy to hit as it was true skill!!)
(bet theres none left now though) the re-chip changed that but dont know to what im afraid, stop n step ere we come

The way to tell if flashback is rechipped is quite easy, get the s and s feature and collect. If the alpha satys 'skillstop reel' it is unchipped, if it says 'stop the reel' it is! Hope this helps

I wouldn't call the SnS on Flashback a 'free' win,it's more like SEU on Arcadia-it does affect the percentage, but it will offer it enought to empty it when there is enough value...

What is the chance of fimding an unchipped one now??

Even the 'other' method - swap around on cherry wins-was largely chipped out ages ago.

great machine in its day..that day is gone now..

Also,it isn't JP from SnS-it's red 7s;all wins from blue 7s and above were supposed to be blocked(it was true skill only to a point)but there was a bug in the code that caused it to recognise the red 7s as mixed 7s when they weren't...

I remember on the old fruit list/CMA list those in the know at the time were desperate to pretend these were being 'streaked'( or even that red 7s were 'free'- I admit that was the rumour I heard early on and duly got my fingers burnt acting on it).Same for Thunderbird, some rubbish about knockbacks when it was actually >15 out for every 5 in....you really have to read between the lines on the internet, though I note that there is a lot less caution about these days.

There is a clone of FB called Geronimo where the SnS cheat never worked, and the swap around method was chipped out early on.
Impulse used to make some really original machines, now they seem content to make boring Bell Fruit clones.

Spartacash..why can't they make stuff like that any more?

because they didn't appeal to "joe public" in that because they were getting played by people who actually knew what they were doing, offered little gameplay inbetween for the casual £2/3 change from a drink player

as for caution, the most used word on the net must be...FORCE!!!!! or should that be....feet first!

    always liked Gridrunner myself

No I can't believe that..Spartacash was a great machine for Joe Average, nice catchy samples, frequent boards(in the early days at least)...soon to be cloned as Simpson's beer guide..I guess it's down to 25 upgrade-that really killed the gameplay..and that horrible Maygay message on the alpha.

    Maygay......

    Spit...
