Dont know whether this is well known or whether it was fluke on my part but i got the 'roll even' feature from a '?' on a normal board and i was distracted by a friend and when i turned back it had stopped itself on an even number. quite useful if it does it on a regular basis dont ya think...![]()
It dont time out too even..
This machine is very predictable most of the time.. usually progressive and flat.. can rip them for a quick profit if you get a force done right but they are far from Barcrests usual standards
Remember Cancel slows down skill continue..
Why has it come to this?
maybe it just times out to what number it wants to, i dont know cos i only did it the once. but it did time out to an even number on me....
**shrugs**![]()
what it 'wants to'.. sounds like you are believing the Roll Even stuff or continue Yes/No is actually true skill... Neither are.
If the machine wants you off the board it will do whatever it takes to get you off and if it wants you on it will land on a Yes or even number whatever regardless of if you let it time out or not..
Why has it come to this?
no i dont believe that a machine has true skill any more, only 'psuedo skill' a few years ago maybe but not any more
you make me out to be some kind of newbie.![]()
Well I see too many questions about why it lands on no and stuff but you are sure it was on yes when you pressed the button.. hell I have seen it slip from like 5cm along the Yes No Yes No display...
Trust me many people stand there trying to hit the yes.. even I try it.. to time it right.. but it is all futile as it is as you say pseudo skill.. the only time you can cound on true skill is if it says it..
Why has it come to this?
More to the point gentlemen , is this machine worth playing ??
I played it on Friday and it quite happily ate 10 of my sterling pounds !
its like any other barcrest machine of recent years. A clone of high flyer etc...
so yes its ok if you catch it at the right time, otherwise its pretty flat
