No..no no...profits are still out there...look below the surface and you will see.

Oh I know it's out there BM,and I pretty well know where to look for it.
I've been playing 10+ years and never had a losing month since I started playing 'properly'.Unfortunately it has just got that much harder to find machines worth playing,and what's around at the moment has very little appeal for me,and I'm not into sharking at all.
I was making a lot more playing machines 7 years ago and with half the effort,and I'm much better informed now than I was then.
The trend is DOWNWARD.
If skills still counted for anything I'd be keener,but I can make more money sitting at my desk than I can pounding the fruity beat,and I don't get all the hassle.
If a £400+/day trick comes my way again I won't refuse it,but I'm damned if I'm going to spend all my time running around chasing bits and pieces hoping for some profit at the end of the day..
I'm pobably just getting old.

another thing, the machines are now too repetative and predictible, its like playing a very simple and shtie computer game for an hour on a slow force.

ive been playing final fantasy 9 with my mates for the past couple of days, disc 3 already, its been a marathon but anyway... to the point
last night i went off to bed with about 12 hours of team game play (about 8 hours was mine, im a hogger when it comes to FF - only cos im the best tho) under my belt and when i was lying in bed trying to get to sleep i was still on FF auto pilot, it reminded me of clearing out pie factories just before the pub closed and then going to bed and still not being able to get the hold hold exchange etc etc etc out my head, now... final fantasy was in my head because id been playing/watching 12 hours non stop but pie factory id been playing about 45 mins and couldnt get out my head, basically final fantasy is sweet, fruit machines suck... if ya catch my drift??

i've stopped over the last few weeks

30th birthday hit and i just thought why bother any more - its a load of work for little money and sometimes a nasty hole in your finances on a bad day. been playing since i was a kid, reasonably seriously for 13 odd years (with breaks) and i know it sounds like a fogey but - things ain't what they used to be

i guess i do more than break even, but not much more than pay for beers (wont play in service stations and arcades).

if something nice comes along i'll try it but i just cant bear the thought of forcing another shitty barcrest, even now i've sussed Dosh n Pecks/ Fireball

kinda remind me of my tetris addiction days.....luckily i got cured from that but still now if i have a go on testris im still hooked
