red wavy lines..... CONNECT 4

I've heard on this forum that the only way to tell if a connect 4 machine from VIVID is chipped is that it has red wavy lines through the cash display.

Am i right to assume that is tha cash display at the top of the machine and not the bottome cash display (where it shows your credits)....

I know it sounds like a stupid question but i just wanted to clarify things in my head so that i can have the thing for even money than i already have.....

the wavey lines appear in the top display when its in "attract" mode

I checked it this weekend and it would appear that it IS chipped.....dammit!

looks like im gonna have to read it like i normally do.....

Does the 50p thing still work on them?
