Well, played this a few times now. the pub its in must be a test site (though since its tucked in the corner they wont get much data from it). definitely interesting gameplay and not usual JPM fare - anyone else got views on it?
Heres the industry blurb:-
The new R&D team led by Leon Eaton recently released the first of the new titles, Firecracker. On its initial tests, approvals have been high.Firecracker is the first game designed by Leon Eaton since he joined JPM and as such the machine has got a completely different profile to those usually from the JPM stable. With innovations such as three different entry levels from the reels and a feature disc that activates with every move on the feature board
Its housed in a Pulsar cabinet using Impact technology. “Future games will be developed using Heber’s Pluto 6 platform and this will give us even more flexibility in delivering a very attractive game that enhances the playing experience for all levels of player,” JPM UK Sales Manager
general gameplay is holds & nudges giving fruit wins or feature entry off three 'starred' symbols on winline. The stars are one of three colours and colour relates to 3 starting bonuses (so 9 bonuses in total) including super start, extra life etc
then its normal round the board stuff climbing cash & feature ladders (both of which can go red) until you unlock a bonus wheel by getting three wheel symbols. every subsequent move around the board, as well as adding to cash/ feature ladder as normal, spins the wheel for a variety of additional bonuses e.g 3+ red cash, multi fill, bonus wheel etc
The wheel symbols can also turn red (like CTL, LOTR2 etc) which i presume is invincible. Not forced for 3 red wheels so cant be sure
theres also a JPM button (exactly like the vivid/ barcrest button) to give you some hints e.g go higher, change number
It many ways its a combination of other manu standard gameplays and IMHO this is far more playable than any JPM effort of late, though its still prolly a b*stard to find any easy rips (whats wrong with that though) and not something to be forced.
