Is it true that just before a fruit machine is collected from a pub to be replaced that it will take loads of money and offer hardly any boards and wins etc. so that it returns full.![]()
No that would be illegal for a start and people would easily notice a machine that is full but has no pay out.
Besides, this would require some good electronics skills because you would need to set the machine to a percentage it doesn't come with (70% - 98%)
doing that would be pretty difficult I imagine..
Why has it come to this?
Well do they have the % set higher when the fruit machine is new to get the players hooked (they think this is a good machine) and then lower this the week before the machine is collected.
if you see a new machine being put in (especially if its being unwrapped) the % are normally set nice and high for a while and it plays really good until it flattens itself out
