you last see a machine streak 'naturally'? Today I saw a pick your pesos go red after an hour of play by recycling wins..the guy had a hard and fast rule not to gamble over a £5 so collected at that point or below if on any dodgy number. He collected his umpteenth £5 then next feature goes IM and he gets the £75.
We all seem to take the forcing for granted these days...I remember a few years back not knowing how to play a crazy fruits down under so collecting this and that..on it for 3 hours then get a super stop and match out of the blue which triggered the streak...you just don't see it much these days.
If you think about it,forcing is the way a lot total mugs have always played, always gambling up the ladder for the JP.Ignoring features and set-ups for fear of 'setting it back'.
Did you ever watch someone try to 'force' a Caesar's Palace or a Red Arrow?
What a pitiful sight.![]()
True Barcrest did make a series of AWPs that weren't worth bothering with unless you did force them.
Same goes for certain clubbers.
I reckon the CMA have got a lot to blame for pushing this idea all over the net, until every idiot now thinks that 'forcing' is what 'pros' do.
The manufactures must love C.Smedley .![]()
And remember, contrary to popular opinion, not all machines *do* streak.
Though all machines will dump at certain times.
I've always hated machines that respond to force, because basically it is bad, lazy design.
slotteraman, lets face it, nowadays if u are a pro the only way ull make profit is by FORCING! MTRS or SKILL ON SKILL FEATURES, no more, no less
danny
smoke me a kipper, i'll be back for breakfast
C.Smedley - What a wanker! If i ever see this boy, actually ive met him trying to help his website but he told me to fuck myself cos i was too young and naive... lol. i would bet this boy is actually a addicted gambler and cant handle fruities and i really hopes he reads this forum
all apologies for bad spelling, grammer and sentence structure but its been a hard night on the town and im just about to hit the kip
danny!
smoke me a kipper, i'll be back for breakfast
I hear the former owner of the CMA is in the West Indies as a tax exile living of the funds of the silly mugs who joined his site.
SOmeone else is putting something together on the URL of his old site (i get a "under construction" message.)
Last natural streak was a few months back for me on a £25 Battle Axe, the way i found to play this was when not backing recycle wins (but force if backing) when its not backing and i recycled wins most times i found that £40ish in total through (remember recycling wins so only abot £20 qill be my own cash) would get the jackpot (only once has it streaked for me doing this).
I have noticed that one manifactuer has put in a different sort of streak, rather than allowing you to force the jackpot. I force to the £10 mark and then it gives about £30-£40 in £10 wins, wether this is intentional i do not know but its like having a £10 jackpot, but if i were to force for the £25 jackpot i would lose.
Good thread
gotta agree that force is a blunt tool for an increasingly sophisticated job. OK on a full Barcrest, but try it on a JPM or stiff RED and....fuck me, where did that £70 go?
In the absence of true skill on machine these days, without a play style that makes the machine go against its intended programme (the semi mythical 'mtr') even having a decent method to minimise known potential loss whilst maximising unknown potential profit depends, to an ever increasing degree, on luck.
Manufactorers are starting to design specifically with force in mind (what about Barcrests BC & clones?). Gives you all the hints - gambling to £5+, 1 more symbol for invincible etc etc etc - but still can take £30+ for first IM.
Or REDs fake backing routine, which deviously seems to include a decent couple of boards offering high features but crap actual win potential in money terms. Then machine will go dead
recycling works, but mostly in the sense of reducing potential losses. taking a series of £4/5 wins will not speed up the process of getting a £50+ dump.
anyway, i'm blathering....totting up cash flow over last 2/3 months i doubt i've made much at all. paid for my beers, had a bit of fun, lost a few quid, won a few quid - it passes the time![]()
