Bad to worse

My local has just taken out a £25 spin on it and a £15 crazy fruits and put in A PILE OF SHITE lo tec....I moaned to the owner about the ratio of lo tec to hi tec now being...19 to 7 and he said that's what people wanted! eh? who? I said at which point he got the huff and walked off...up until this point I have had a good relationship with him but this is the first example of 'I don't give a shit about my customers' ..'even regulars' I've had from him. Miserable ****

Oh, dear, oh, dear, oh, dear! I thought arcades were bad for stuffing their bandit space with loads of lo-techs, but pubs? Aaaargh! Well, if all these places are going to make all their machines lo-tec then I'm outta there. I know there are some people who can't be arsed playing those 'complicated' machines but most of them seem to pay out to whoever they want anyway. Replacing SOI for PT is like replacing Virtua Tennis 2 for Pong! Who the hell would want to see a series of Xs, Os and Bars and siren noises as their choice of 'entertainment'?

I should clarify my'local' is an arcade..besides which pub would have 25 or so machines in it? Come to think of it..Wetherspoons are trying their hardest to do that..

Oopsie! Thought when you said 'local' you meant 'pub'. There is one pub near my area that once had about 12 machines in it, all of them hi-tec.

cant wait for Wetherspoons to try and enforce this "no swearing" rule on a friday/saturday night when the place is packed with people getting loaded up with cheap beer

LOL!!!!!! any pub that trys to inforce a no swearing rule deserves to be destroyed.... actually for their sin all of humanity needs to be destroyed... simple as, these boys are taking the piss. no way they can inforce a no swearing rule LOL sorry i cant say it without laughing

Only found this board last night after doing my monthly search on the internet (research folks....every source is potential info, just online ones are not that reliable).
