Hi all,
Anyone got anything for this one? It's just arrived in my local and wondered if anyone has had more experience. Tried it a bit last night but ended up about £10 down. Had a look through previous threads but can't find reference to it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Pete
Play a straight force for JP on average costs £30 for JP but the £5 you lose is the price you pay to see whether the next board is IM or not. This board will either be a red board (mexican goes red) or will be a hidden IM .. hi/lo will go all the way to JP or all guns will be lit on cash trail. Get any of these and the next board will also be IM if the first IM doesn't repeat. Sometimes gives £100 but usually £75. When gambling for the first JP there is a large block at £10..costs around £15 to go to JP once you get £10 for the first time. If you start playing and the feature entry is infrequent or bonuses are not putting you on trail or cash ladder is losing at £3 or below then it will cost you the full £30 and possibly more to get JP..be careful.
I find that a standard JP costs about £40 to force so if your machine is %78, you can sort of work out what the streak cycle is.
E.g.:
Total percentage held back when not streaking: 100 * (1 - (25/40)) = 37.5%
Balance left for streak pot = 37.5% - (100% - 78%) = 15.5%
Saved streak pot required for activation on next JP: £50
Streak cycle in pound coins: £50 / [£1 * (15.5%/100%)] = £322.
However, there are several assumptions made about this calculation, and I suspect from experience that the streak cycle is about £400-500.
A yellow top feature normally does £10-15, a red one always £25, and £75 if streak ready.
not entirely true, if u are counting IMs then the streak varies, forcing obviously would fit to ur method but say recyling 5 pound wins would result in maybe a streak cycle jackpot if ur lucky but you wouldnt get an IM

...always 50+, which activates by getting JP when the machine has saved for £50 in the streak pot, which I have given a rough calculation for above. The streak cycle on some BFG machines is similar but obviously other behaviour is different.
The streak on PYPs is paid by either:
- JP repeat (£50), and the next board is an IM.
- JP and two IMs.
- 3 IMs in a row.
- A red top feature doing £75.
- JP and the next board doing a red feature of £50.
When not streak ready the machine will pay normal JPs and only £25 if U get a red top feature, and these are just paid out of the machine's balance. Try and force the machine too much when not streak ready and it will IM - not surprises there. In my opinion, this Impulse machine is a nice number, good play, easy to suss, etc. Get to know the rough takes and pay out cycles at the locations that have this particular machine, and you can start making some money. Usually tips apply, tip the barman, don't play if just paid £75 out, etc.
If after the machine has given £75 then it usually goes dead but it is often worth putting £4 back in , especially if you forced the first JP out to see what is left over.
yeh, i was just pointing out that recycling wins wont get a streak for you as sooo many people seem to think

...come a point on Impulse, Maygay, and Extreme machines where the machine has saved the streak pot and it just IMs on anybody playing the machine for an easy JP and hence the streak is born. This is where you can get £100.
I assume that the machine carries on saving the streak pot until it reaches £75, then it just IMs on anybody playing the machine to dump an easy JP and entire £75. Now I am guessing though.
