I can't believe that Barcrest have released yet another clone of the Big Cheese. We must be back to Arabian Nights days.

Yeah.. I just played this crap today and too take the piss even more the bookies has.. Super Star AND High Flyer?!?

As for playability it plays exactly the same as Top Dog, Big Cheese and High Flyer...

My method for these line of machines is too keep playing till you get an IM board and USUALLY the next board also flickers too... about 75% of the time...

Also if the JP repeat is true skill on a flickering board then play for a couple more boards as you should get another flashing board... I have ALWAYS had £75 when this happens (30p/72%).

forcing these barcrests just annoys me now - v.difficult to get more than £30-40 profit if youre lucky

also the way that they are starting to spread the streak. instead of JP, repeat, next board JP its becoming JP, crap board, crap board, JP, crap board, JP

Forcing these at all is a very bad idea as you probably know.. they do not streak often and I can pretty much guarantee you will end up down if you try to force one of these when it is not ready.

However not all the new bacrests are so hard to force.. Cash Attack and Supercharged do nice streaks but still have the staggered streak which is becoming more common place in B'crests.. JP.. dead board, dead board, IM board, dead board, JP, JP etc etc

Lets hope Barcrest dont use the same streak pot system on all future machines as we dont want more of the Fireball/Big Cheese stlye payouts of £60 in/£50 (and thats if you are lucky)

Random streaks are nice for the occasional player but when you are £100 in you need to at least know with less than £25 more in you can get at least £100 back and not be £100 down but be < £30 down.. With things like Big Cheese, High Flyer, Dosh n Pecks etc at £100 in you are gonna end up about £50+ down unless it is READY to streak.
My Point?: Be careful with some of the newer Barcrests.

Yep - when they first came out it was an easy buck. now with the machines having been played for 6 mths its just not worthwhile

i find cash attack slightly better becoz of its range of wins on the feature board many people take £3/5 wins all the time allowing the machine to build up a decent bank for the streak

if streaks get staggered unless theres a means of determining if it 'll go (which there will be!) right at the start then thats serious trouble, like you say.

still havent got a decent method for fireball/ dosh n'pecks....can minimise losses but no reliable style. its arse as i know there is one, i just cant figure it. still, couple of old style REDs are keeping me in cash
