Over the last few weeks I have come accross several old(ish) barcrests which I could bet my life on have been rechipped in the last few weeks.. play totaly different than what they did as recently as 3 or 4 months ago..
They seem less responsive to force and are much harder to read.. Big Cheese/Hot Rocks and clones are the ones which spring right to mind.. good thing is the current chips I have seen are very obvious anyways...
Why has it come to this?

Yeah it was tutti frutti on the first version of Big Cheese only (testing version) I think... never worked on any clones or any software version after that.
