The advent of Party Games has created a new wave of player appeal...Astra have got it right here...the CG dislay and plasma screen feature entry are appealing to make you play even when you know you may well lose..but unlike the origional party time or arena the boards can go big..my record..£145 off one board!
I think the next multi-player should incorporate some novelties...the party games has characters doing the conga on the screen when nobody is on the feature...1 player playing..1 character dancing..2 players playing 2 players dancing etc... how about incorporating some kind of extra bonus..pot/win when all four slave units are in use..i.e a random feature or the ability to 'fight it out' for an enhanced feature if two players should win at the same time and both units go up top...
