err..something tells me this is not the subject in question.

I have heard it's quite risky-will cost a lot if it goes wrong.

This sends data to an rs232 port (serial) inside the machine. If an engineer has a data collector connected to it, he or she can get the stats payouts etc from the machine without having to tally it off the counters. Didnt do anything good except attract attention, and people still insist it was a trick, even tho if maygay put in an emptier code as easy as that thwey would all be cash low and the programmer (like donkey kong) would be sacked! It is still in the newer ones, but a lot longer.
