How can you tell if its a refill or the machine is backing? Is it when the machine only backs for about £4, or is it just judgment?
Also has any1 heard of the machine 'who wants to be a millionHare' from Global. Its a similar layout to trival pursuit e.t.c. Wondering if any1 had any tips. Its keeps paying in my local but can take the piss aswell.

If you think of a re-fill, basically the machine operator will fill the hopper with pound coins even if the machine is 100 light, the % therefore will still be calculated the same, most likely the machine will play very nicely (ie someone has pumped alot in it for nothing) if not a refill, but play badly (but not always) if a re-fill as it could have been so much light the day before but full on the day you play. Try to rely on how the machine plays rather than if its backing or not. BTW: Where are you located in the West Mids? PM or E-Mail Me.
Depending on the site, some machines are refilled on a constant basis and others not. Service stations are notorous for refilling. Basically you have to use your judgement. I know some locations that a backing machine is a good sign but I would ignore it in a Service Station. You should ideally know the machine and leave it if you think it is not going to pay based on how it is playing. For example, I would leave BFG and Barcrests if they didnt do feature entry within a tenner for sure. Ideally you want to watch someone else play the machine before you have a go.
