If you want a grief-free life,I *don't* think they're worth playing regularly (and I used to play 12 hours/day once).
When JPM and Barcrest and Impulse were still making 'player-friendly' machines you could chance your arm and rarely get totally shafted.
Since the £25 JPs came out you can easily put £50 into a machine in the space of 20 minutes and get nothing back.In other words-you can't afford to experiment or take risks on recent machines unless you can afford to lose 1000s.
Don't believe people on the internet boasting that they make £1000+ a week playing fruities.
If they were they wouldn't tell anyone.
It's all garbage,don't get taken in.

Well I'm on £100-£150 a week out of just 8 pubs so the scene can't be that bad!
It's all about knowing which machines to play in which ways and when and those to completely avoid.
