proper gimp needs pointing in right direction

Right I've had a nosy through the forums and seem to be missing most of the basic knowledge to use any of the tips given (fair enough i know a little bit but nothing of any real use).

So rather than ask you all to give away all your decent tips can someone point me in the direction of a nice website where i can do all my background reading, it doesn't have to be up to date just something that has the basics on it so i know where to start.

I've had a looksee on realfruits.co.uk but i'm not convinced that i should be paying for information when i'm not 100% its any good.

Yeah I was considering joining Realfruits.co.uk but i am also not sure about it cos it doesn't seem quite finished or even alive for that matter , there is also club Arcadia which always seems active.

What fruities do you know at the Moment ??

Fair enough that the sites worth £20 but does it cater to the non advanced players (i.e. me) and bring them up to speed.

If you'd be so kind as to be able to send me a pdf or file of some old pointless machine that they do i could use it to evauluate what they produce.

nice to see that my post has turned into an ebay equivalent

anyway anybody going to point me to starting in the right direction or is it time to
a, pump money blindly into machines
b, become the really annoying guy who lurks round machines looking for hints and tips
c, getting a real job (damnit no i have some principles)
d, designing a cunning gambling suit that disquises me as a gambling machine, then hanging round in bars till drunk guys throw pound after pound into me. Thinking about it, this idea it isn't so bad. All i need is three reels, a torch and some quality street wrappers for coloured lights(specifically a red one to make it look like i'm going to streak) and hey persto instant winner, and i don't even need that 78% rule.

Enough of the dumb ideas, anyone find any sites? like i said i don't want the latest tips just some starter stuff, i.e. which machines normally have the 3 2 1 bars rule, when to walk when to stay etc (look see thats all i can come up with, help is required here) from then on i'll happily go find my own stuff out the old fashioned and expensive way.
