Has anyone been barred from a pub or arcade for winning? I was barred last week by a mean old landlady after streakin the 6 shooter they had in there. Though i am good at bein descreet, she was bein nosy and also it was one of those 'drop the bank straight away' types. As I left, (I had a pint as well) she just said 'please dont come in again! As I was late I didnt retaliate cos I knew why already but has anyone else suffered the same fate just cos they win? Aint the first time its happened to me and wont be the last I am sure.......Any comments would be welcome from all

    Many times,i'm sorry to say.
I once got barred from four places in one day(I think they must have put out a general alert or something!).
It's days like that that make you want to quit.
I was banned from all the local arcades for a long time where I used to live.

Try screaming out aloud when you have the jackpot and do some kind of victory dance, makes it look like the JP was lucky (in some cases), alternatively get to know your staff!!!

I Once played in an Arcade in a local Town and By Pure and Simple luck i won around £150 on the Bar - X machines - so there i was scraping my coins up and a lady came over and said " would you mind leaving the premises please as we have been watching you and beleive you to be cheating "

As i casually LMAO in her face at the thought of cheating on Poxy Bar - X machines - i mean it's not like you can Really predict these or force Jackpots !

So i kindly explained that she should stick to Changing notes rather than watching people play. At the end of the day If a Company has made a mistake in it's program what the Hell has it got to do with A pathetic Note changer - but their not all bad

The most ridiculous barring I had was a long time ago in a Showboat arcade, back in the days when you could empty Ace machines on the 'lines'.
I'd literally put only £2 in and managed to get the first win from the lines grid and not the reels.
The manager came straight up to me and said 'we don't allow cheating, you're barred'!
    No arguments,that was that.
It's usually the quiet 'local' places that bar you for winning,be it pub arcade or bookies.
It can become a real pain if you have to travel around all the time trying to find 'safe' locations.

This is a good one! Yesterday on a visit to Central London, I walked from Argate East Station towards what I believed to be Liverpool St Station. I'd been through this route before and thought I'd remember some of the locations.

For example I noticed a pub where I got barred for playing a Showtime(?!) and then an arcade (Leisure Exchange) which I had visited once before (Midderies St maybe?). Upon entering the only worker (a 6" black dude, who walked with a limp) was playing the Lord of The Rings. This I thought was a bit out of order for what I believe to be part of a chain of arcades. He did however stop playing when I walked in, I was the only person in there apart from 2 other black guys playing pool. I played Golden Dragon, on which I made an unsubstantial loss, then Giant Gems which yielded the same negative profit. Throughout this time I had been watched like a hawk! However, nothing had been said (either about the way I played the machines or any more courteous offers of tea, coffee, etc...)

Before leaving I decide to chance my luck in a £15 QOTD. After £40 in I was most displeased at the way it was progressing, however my displeasure was only to be exemplified. The black dude who had been watching me previously came over and asked me to finish my credits and leave. Upon questioning to motive, he did not reply. I asked if he would play the machine after me and he could only manage a chuckle. When asked his name he merely stated that he was the manager and that was all that mattered. Of course I couldn't force him to give me his name. The two black guys playing pool formed a mini "hood." The arcade was to be ethnicly cleansed... and I was the target. And so I had to leave the arcade... with substantial loss, only so the apparant "manager" could poach the machine I had prepared for him.

At the time I thought about taking the matter further but I don't know if it will do much good.

yea sucks when someone tries to force u out cos they want the machine. I was once playin a really old £6 token machine in an arcade , and amazingly i got the six pound jackie, and TEN repeats! The guy came over and was sorta chekin out what i may have been up to, I then got ANOTHER repeat for £72, then ANOTHER for £78 at which point he said 'if it repeats again, it is malfunctioning, and you cant have the money! How i laughed my head off when it didnt, straight to 'no'. He couldnt have looked more sour faced as he gave me the £50 shortfall in tokens once the machine ran empty. Had a bit of a round at the time so knew where the other sites for these tokens were so left with em, I never went back and the arcade was demolished 2 years ago, so i was always a winner there Any more ban stories??

    Not so sad story ,

Having played a Barcrest 'HOT STUFF' in Manchester for a hour steadily draining my funds - the machine suddenly kicked into life - silver streaks ,cash code ,etc......

.....the old girl behind the bar .....eagle-eyed .....for most of the hour ...watching me put quid after quid into the machine must have missed me pocket over £50 .......

When i went upto the bar - i was checking the clock above her head ...

..when she said ...Bad Luck shame you didn't win !......with that smug grin on her face ......

    ...i said ok.......and can you change 50 ..1's for notes love ???

.her face hit the deck ...bitch !!!!!!!!!!!
