Couple of these have turned up in my locals, any playing methods or tips ?

If you mean Nitro by red gaming, then watch out for them, they are the sneaky 'full and empty' machines that red seem to be doing a lot these days, i.e u put a fiver in and it sounds full, going into the bottom, then it will suddenly divert to the hopper, tricking you out of it cos its empty (or not as full) as it pretended to be!. That said, it can be good to play sometimes, but if it has been hammered, you wont have a prayer of winning, it killing you on 11 and 2 for stupid wins like £1. Good things to watch for are the red exchanges that super the feature up, and the nudges giving you the three red cross feature, sometimes goes slow, givin you at least £5 but more often £10, and £25 if really paying. The feature to go for is 'chequred flag, which is the top board, the others can be pretty lame, some only givin you £2-£2 on super!!! Cant remember off hand, you can check on the sites for explanations. Overall can be good, but I so far have tended to be about even or slightly down on them, Hope this helps ya
