Hey all,
Probably haven't posted on here for well over a year now, but stopped playing poker a long time ago for many reasons. Still play the odd home game once in a while but nothing special.
ANYWAY, I was playing poker dice in a bar last night with a friend and the barman and on my first throw I threw 5 aces (best possible hand), to everybodys surprise. The champagne (well, prosecco) was cracked open and plenty of vodkas thrown around. BUT I would like to know what the probability from 5 dice (showing 9 - Ace) of throwing these 5 Aces is.
If someone could tell me the formula and the answer I would be very grateful.
I'm also off to Vegas in a month for 4 nights as a friend is getting married - anyone ever stayed in the Flamingo?
Cheers from Vienna,
Rich

Probability of throwing 1 Ace = 1/6.
Probability of throwing 2 Aces = 1/6 * 1/6 = 1/36
Probability of throwing n Aces = 1/6 ^ n.
