Your tiny 3-bet on the river seems a bit pointless here and it makes it harder to tell whether he has a hand or he's reading that as some kind of weird bluff. Still a fold I'd say.

Well you cant fold now. You need to be either shoving or folding then he raises the river, you cant ever be 3-betting the river and then folding. Im probably just flatting the river as i doubt he's calling a shove with a worse hand but he can definitely be value raising a worse hand on 5th street.

Can you give any other details like what the guy played like, hand range etc.

You should know by the previous hands of your opponent, if you have been watching his game is he TAG, LAG? Have you seen him come ott light or is he usually pushing with the nuts, if you have him profiled and his hand range noted this should give you a good idea of what to do. On the face of it looks like a fold.

Your 1.60 bet looked like a feeler bet. Getting into a raising war with a paired board is a big risk. He probably had K6s trapping post flop, as soon as he re raised you you should have just called if you thought you were good, giving him the opportunity to 4 bet put you in a terrible position. You put your self in a position to possibly lose more than you should have.

Unless you called and he had 67s, then that would be a hero call.

I folded.. Both players who entered pot extremely lose +50 vpip's maniacs.. where 3 and 4 betting regularly.

Think I'll go back down to 10nl.. not feeling very confident at 20nl.. down 5 buy-ins already and feeling decidedly out of my depth although 3 of those buy-ins where classic coolers.

    Thanks for the advice.

Did you fold because of the pre-mentioned lost buy-ins? it looks like your confidence has taken a knock, if so maybe a drop back to 05/10 level would be ok. but imo this is one that got away if they were as loose as you mentioned then snap call. gl at 5/10 and come back stronger n wiser
