The final day of the festival started with 40 players remaining in the £500 event and came to an end at around 4am this morning. After a marathon 20 hours of play the final three players split the remaining pool to head home for some well earned sleep!

At 13 players there was little movement for over an hour until a deal was suggested to give
11th - 13th £500...

...once the final got underway a further deal was agreed to give 4th - 6th £4500
you might say there were more deals done here than in a parliamentary back room!

Congratulations to all players who cashed over this 4 day event and commiserations to those who would've made it if not for that bad beat!

With all the excitement of the last few days we are already looking forward to planning the next in-house festival and the hosting of the Coral British Masters in October (satellites schedule will begin mid August). I hope to add a once a month Omaha competition after the last minute success of the first Harbourside Omaha tournament yesterday, any suggestions on size and or structure will be gladly considered.

Thanks to all who came and supported this local event and made it so successful
