you think hes worth 40m? surely not that much!

tho..i dont quite get their thought process sometimes when they 3 bet with shit hands... sure they may just bluff the whole hand if they dont hit - but dwan 3 bet with king 9 and flop comes king high.... so makes it look easy!

also what do you think about them saying how slow he plays live - yet online hell play 6 tables at once or something

Totally agree with Dan. As much as Eastgate must have showed some game to beat the WSOP ME, you can run pretty good and be a top 20% player and do that without ahving to be godly good. If he is that good - expect some consistency.

Dont know what Dwan's networth is but he's played pretty solid and i thought that sixes hand that was mentioned on the forume before was a bit harsh. Him getting away from Benyamine's FH i thought was a pretty decent laydown. Apart from that - nothign too much of interest in the first episode.

I look forward to Esfandiari and Laak sitting down as theyre always the most entertaining players in the season.

Sweet going to watch it now

Dan/Ty can you chuck a spoiler warning in the thread title?
People will no doubt add hands in here and I think some others have already stated that they save these up so dont want to hear what happens

Talking about the eastgate thing Jamie Gold tried HSP after his ME win and got pwned big time. The other HSP players love it because they just see it as a big chunk of the money circulating back around the poker community

I like watching farha and Elezra at the same table double/triple straddle with all-ins blind not the most sensible poker but makes good TV.
Doubt you will see him on this but i would love it if somebody staked Sammy Grizzle that man is proper funny at the table

I kinda feel Elezra is a little out of his depth in this game. Eastgate played ok IMO, don't even think about comparing him to Gold, this guy is way way way better.

I thought Eastgate played high stakes cash online and had done for quite a while before his WSOP win.

You can just tell that he gets owned in cash games. He looks very lost whenever the action is on him and the only thing he seems to ever do is check or call. I remember that being pretty bad in cash games.
Yeah, I just looked it up. He played high stakes limit poker ($200/$400) and was a pretty decent winner at it. Couldn't really find anything on NL, but i'm sure there was a thread in HSNL or somewhere where someone said he'd been playing NL online too...of course that doesn't mean he was winning, especially if he was getting his winnings from another form of poker.

He played the AK pretty good vs Negreanu and the A6s hand vs Dwan that leaked onto the internet. Wasn't a fan of him betting the flop with 98s after being checked to against Dwan though.
