    Default Titan Poker

I have noticed when browsing about looking in to "helper" (cheating?) software, that almost all of these software packages, from the legitmate to the more dodgy are offered "free" with a deposit to Titan Poker. Does anyone play there? If so is the standard of play noticeably different? I would guess that a large proportion of players there have signed up with a deal attached to one or other of these helper apps, and will be using them whilst playing?

Not at all, Woody, precisely why I described them as "cheating", I am doing a bit of "know thine enemy" research. Are they cheating? Surely sites like Full-tilt, Bodog, Party, etc would not allow it?

I think it depends on intention. Programs like Holdem Manager or Poker Tracker are 100% deffo not cheating though, like Scrote, i'd go for Holdem Manager if you are thinking of purchasing. Things like WinHoldEm i'm not sure about, i'd say they probably are cheating but I dont' really know enough about what they do or are supposed to do for you to really comment.

Wakou Paddy power are on Ipoker and they have some helper software that attches itself to the game table if you install it. Problem is you have to be emailed an authentication code to download it so it probably only gets offered to top rakers etc

I think if it offered their customers 'cheating software' then they would have been reported by now, and all players would use it.

I think perhaps people are being distracted by my use of the term "cheating". I was referring to tools like hold'em manger, pokercrusher etc, which database histories and can present them HUD, I was not thinking about "'bots" or the like.
