    Default Crits/advice please?

    [IMG][/IMG]

By my (piss poor) reckoning, I have Nut Trips, 4 draws to the nut straight, 8 draws to nut flush, 15 draws to Nut Full House, 1 draw to Quads, So a good hand with 28 draws to the bollocks.

Anyone not calling here? Even if Villain has his straight face up, I still call no?

You have around 20 outs with one card to come (A king only splits it) so you are Just short of even money BUT if you hit you cannot win any more money off your opponent so its a close thing If your opponent had more money left then definate call but as it stands well....Gamble if you must.

I have no more money either(literally, I can't even re-fill) so "felting" him is moot. Would you have called?

    Easy call. Absolute no-brainer.

YES once you have bet the $6 you have to call the other $10? But a check on the turn would have been you`re best play as you have top trips plus nut flush DRAW which would leave your opponent with only one other hand ....the top straight , now you are playing catch-up. If he bets the $6 you call, it bricks off, he bets all in.. you pass.

Prof, you deserve your nickname. Just stoved the sums, face up after the turn I am 45% against 50%, ie just short of evens..

    WOW, you're GOOD!

Thanks, but I do play Omaha for a living so hopefully have some idea as to what I am on about . Usually playing tight is the best plan for success at this game and knowing the approximate odds is near enough. Beginers and even one or two experienced players make loads more mistakes at omaha than in hold-em ...nice edge . One warning though the swings are, or can be, huge by comparison .

OMAHA IS A WAY DIFF GAME FROM HOLDEM. the perms are mind boggling. high low is even worse. e.g. flop comes 5s,6s,7h you flop trips( sixes ) 1 player shoves all in he gets 2 callers, where are you? easy way to go broke unless you are as good as the proff.
