The first thing you have to bear in mind is that online poker is rigged. The online casino makes it's money by raking or taking part of the pot. So the casino rigs games in a several different ways to increase their rake.

Here are some simple rules for playing online poker. If you obey them you’ll immediately win!

1) Always play any hand and at least take a look at the flop especially if you are UTG.

2) If you receive big hole cards (AA, KK, QQ, AKs, etc) be cautious. If you flop a monster hand check the board and see if anyone else could have the nuts or draw the nuts. If there is a chance of someone getting a better hand it will probably happen.

3) Always chase flushes and straights. you will be suprised how many you will hit on the river.

4) If you flop a straight or a flush, fold immediately. If you flop a straight someone will get a flush and if you flop a flush someone will get a full house.

5) If your stack is getting a little short, just push all in. Chances are you will win regardless of what you have. You do have to keep in mind that someone with a smaller or equal stack may call you though.

I prefer playing sit and go tables instead, yes the online casino has the rake, but where else can you experience the final table of a tournement in one fast game.

They start with 9 players, it pays down to three positions.

Make it to the third seat and your in profit.

Stage One - 7 - 9 players around the table

Sit quiet and don't get involved, unless you have face cards in pairs or suited connectors that you are allowed to see for free. Do not bet your chips unless you have monsters, there is no point at this stage.

Stage Two - 6 - 5 players around the table

Start playing low pairs and suited connectors, avoid ace rag and single face card values.

Stage Three - 4 players around the table

It's time to demonstrate that you have some balls because the bubble is about the bust. No doubt two out of the four players will be holding their cards tight in an effort to make the prize money.

Do not do it, instead play agressive, any ace, rag hands and other face rag hands. It's time for aggression, bullying, pushing and bluffing. You will make it.

Stage Four - The Money

You have now reached the prize pool and now the real poker begins, i will not waste any more of your time, but in this situation with three players, is best to practice and perfect the style that works for you.

But remember, always play for first place and worst you will come is second, never settle for third.

At least you made me laugh, mate! If you want to put a complex game like poker into 3 rules, you can not even win against players that have 2 or less rules, because even though the casino takes a very small portion of each pot (usually around 5%), your rules are so bad that they will not make up for it. And yes, I know what I am talking about, I play poker for 2 years and made more than 20k. If you really want to start playing poker, you need to work very hard, study a lot, read a lot, discuss hands etc. You cant win by following your 3 rules mate, trust me
