Default My exit hand (razz bad beat)

I am by no means brilliant at razz having only played it minimal times but i think i like to think im ok and certainly not terrible.

Any razz players here? On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad would you rate this beatage?

Tis final 3 players and Udolino has been decent all the way whilst GBTROT has been invovled in almost every single pot lol.

I've played a fair amount of razz, mostly on FTP. This isn't a massive bad beat simply because you're so short-stacked in my opinion. If I were him I probably just 3-bet and call your 4-bet before the 4th card just to get it all in sooner. When he flat-calls the 2-bet and then gets a king he has to carry on as you have more in the pot than in your remaining stack. Let me do some odds work to determine how much of a favourite you were at each stage...

A23 vs A57 ==== 55.15%
A236 vs A57K ==== 80.84%
A236A vs A57K4 ==== 56.21%
A236AK vs A57K4J ==== 44.33%

The place where you seem to think he should have folded is when he got the king and has less than 20% equity. If he knew your hand perfectly then it's pretty borderline. There's 5600 in the pot and you have 3025 left. So he needs 26% equity to call there and that's supposing that your bet is effectively all in which it isn't. Presumably he might fold on the next card if he pairs up and you get another low. That probably brings his required equity down to around 24%. But that isn't even the point. Against your range he has huge odds here. Even given your 2-bet he's probably rational to think that his three cards beat yours. If you had a hand like AJ3 then as far as he's concerned, most people will make the 2-bet because they know they're already committed. The 2-bet really says nothing about the strength of your hand.

Good points dice. Yeah i know my stack size played a huge part in this particular hand as to what my opponent is going to do (even though i am 99% sure he would have played it the same had i had 1 million chips cos he was just awful).

His part aside and just the cards that came it was pretty bad from him hitting the K - it just got worse and worse lol.
