Default How to work out ROI%?

Confession: I'm quite crap at maths in general.

Now that that's out in the open can anyone post how I work out my ROI% please?

If I play a €5.50 5 seater and come 1st for €17.50 what is my ROI? 350%?! Or am I way off?! lol

I've got a spreadsheet of about 60 results that weren't tracked on sharkscope but they seem to be tracking Omaha games now, want to know what my ROI% was on these games though as I was doing good

    Tanks.

EDIT - that 350% is blatantly wrong but I'll leave it there for comedy value!!

    (winnings - buyins)/buyins = 218% in OP

    Thanks for that mate.

So to work it out overall I just add up the total winnings and total buyins and do the above sum right?!

If so.... my ROI% over 62 Omaha Hi/Lo games was just under 50% (mostly €5+0.50 ones), my sharkscope would be looking good now if they tracked them earlier, doh

I've only just started playing Omaha Hi/Lo - I think it's more to do with everyone else being so so bad than me being particularly good to be honest! If you don't play them already I recommend these games!

I have played a few, and would agree - the 2e tables are very easy. Everyone flat calls pre-flop, then some players will happily go all in with top pair/2pair - you just wait until you have a made hand i.e. top str8 or better and put them out.

Even so, roi of 50% is still bloody good !
