So? You can lose money with 75o as well. You're more likely to lose money with 75o than you are with AQ. Play the hands that are actually good, and fold the bad ones.

We weem to have gone off on a tangent here. Originally we were discussing whether you should ship AQ against a serial all-inner after he's done it for the 5th time.
This has got nothing to do with how to play it under normal cirucmstances against std raises/re-raises yadda yadda.
I actualyl would lay down Ace queen - because...... as much as it is a good hand - you dont actually HAVE anything. He could quite easily hit as much as you could (assuming he has 2 live cards) the odds are like what 45 % 55%?? I would just wait till i had something like 10s and above - if happens to have 2 overcards then, and its a race, well thats just unlucky
The whole moral of this thread is GTFO of NL Holdem or shut up. Play limit instead.

I think you gotta lay AQ down in this spot, you are behind to all pairs and AK, not to mention people callin with suited connectors. I think you have to call if it were AK or any pair above 4/5's. At the end of the day, if you make the call, you will hit sometimes or you will be out, thats poker, if thats how you play good luck! Remember if you fold, you still got your stack, you could pick up AA next hand and the guy bets into you again.
If i am in late position or in the blinds, early on in a tourney, i often just call with AQ, then play cautious from there. If i hit a A on the flop, i am fairly confident of having the best hand. If it is ragged, you gotta take it slow. Usually do ok, but yeah, you can run into a monster for not raising the pot.
