The KQ shouldnt be a 5x raise in Mid Position in my opinion. Although in a tourney like this i can understand the extra agression. Just super unlucky tbh.

IIRC one or two sitouts on the table made this a no-brainer IMO - anyway the lesson is thus - find yourself in a hand with me on PCUK where you think you're behind (as you probably will be) - if it's for my tournament life call anyway as Matt has me doomswitched. I really should have entered the "I Don't Like Mondays" cover for the song contest instead! LOL

...well if you insist on playing those week AJ / AQ hands....what can I say.... hand orders are reversed in a freeroll - AA is weakest, 72os a monster.

....you should know this by now !!!

    no sympathy!

Anyone offering odds on a similar exit from the €50fr shortly? If I go 4/4 like that I'll post it up here as well.

OK, more of a race this time, but still in the lead when the money goes in, and as only the 3rd hand I'd played the entire tournament I'm not sure I like the villain's call. Perhaps he'd read my earlier post before deciding. 4/4 suckout exit hands though in consecutive tournaments (but nowhere near my personal record)!

In the order quoted, I'm 68.52%, 67.62%, 82.22%, and 65.10% favourite to win when the chips go in the middle (not bad odds in poker). Obviously I'm pissed off with my luck, but just have to keep telling myself that it's variance and not that the Universe wants to see me suffer.

I don't deny that from a strategic perspective some of my decisions could be argued about one way or another, but the fact remains that when the chips went in in ALL the above I was a pretty good favourite regardless. Personally, considering the nature of the events, I don't think my play was that bad in either - it did manage to elicit poor calls from hands I had dominated in both instances, which was the purpose after all.
