Hi guys, just wondering if I made a good call on the flop, I was going to fold it because of two callers, possibly made flush and draws, then the 4th flush card comes and im just like f*ck sake, but then quads on river (brag)

what makes it worse is I just lost a big stack against 3 kings, and I could have won maybe $20 more lol (big pot for these stakes)

Howcome you didnt raise or check-raise the flop? I can maybe see an argument for seeing if a safe card peels off on the turn so you reduce what you might lose on the hand, but it seems to me like you should be building the pot as you stand to win a lot. Even if they have a flush, you still have draws to a full house. Or quads.

I would have raised every time - push any str8 draws out.

Chance of flopping a flush are low - but drawing to 1 with a spade in the hand, chances are fair.

Would perhaps have bet less at the end too.

yeahfirst thing i thought is i dont know why you just called on the flop

but id laugh if someone hit the royal flush on that hand lol now that would be a bummer!

hmmmmmm it's a difficult choice, I may find it hard to lay down, but it's always good if you hit quads haha.

Bet or check-raise the flop, try and get all the money in now so shove if raised. Not even thinking about just calling and definitely not folding. Fill up if he has the flush lol. Lols dont slowplay or get scared and dont fold a set on that flop at these stakes. If you're thinking of folding you're probably under-rolled.

interesting, nice post, I got scared because I quite often flop flushes, dont know why! but that is mostly on pokerstars
