getting money out

Hey, I'm pretty new to this -- and have had some decent luck recently at the tables. Seems like the sites are pretty slow to send cheques for withdraws.

What is the best way to get money out from sites? Any advice?

It seems that the PCUK site is the best way to go. They don't require that money be withdrawn by signing in the blood of a unicorn, hand-delivered to a post office on the moon, but rather will just drop it in your bank after a few days' delay.

With Poker.co.uk even if you've never made a deposit you can withdraw to a debit card, or to your bank and ass botherer mentioned it only takes a couple of days.

Id never bother with a cheque again. The last time i withdrew from pcuk via a check, it wasnt so much the waiting time that was bad but iirc it was a german cheque and the bank charged me about 8 quid for processing it!

Well, when I started playing poker I ended up with 15euro credit (about what I had deposited) and decided to quit on a break even point - so I got a cheque sent to me for 15e.

However, my bank wanted £30 to cash the check - so I passed, and waited until my holiday in France, where I deposited it in my French account. Unfortunately the check was returned as 'too old'.

So, I contacted the poker site and they refunded 15euro to my account - I have now built this up to >1000euro.

..so for me, I love the difficulties getting your money out

I'm currently withdrawing by those German cheques, apparently because they won't let me deposit or withdraw with my bank account because it is still registered with the frozen Dice Man account...bastards.

I withdrew from there back in May with no probs...except it took nearly a week to appear in my bank account...

I think that would qualify as pretty poor. Although even PCUK's takes a few days. Now that the banks have stopped using this con, and allow instant transfers, it's probably about time the poker sites offered the same. We can't have poker being more evil than banks!

PCU has actually gotten slower since the change in bank rules. I used to see the money in my account in 24 hours, now it's more like a week. And it asks me for my security code every fucking time, which it never used to.

Yeah, I had all the fun of having to reapply for another security code, which involved hiking to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, where I had to complete three mighty quests, and return the head of the slayed griffin to Webdollar's headquarters. There I was made to fight against a series of their greatest warriors, where upon my victory they finally agreed to post it to me again within two to four weeks.
