Hey guys there was a downtime earlier today!
I was just wondering if some of the touraments will still pay out? There was a 10,000 euro tournament (10 euro rebuy) which only had 52 players, and will not even make half the 10,000 surely? I wonder if they will still pay out the full amount? And there was a 3000 guaranteed with only 2 players?! CRAZY! |

You need ten players for a tournie to start - so the 3k gtd one would just be cancelled.
As for the other, I imagine people will just get refunded but I can just imagine the nightmare the support lines are getting as people demand more. |

lol @ the €3k gtd game. I see that too. As Tom says tournaments are usually set to cancel if less than 10 players register, or serious communication problems occur. However, this one, and a few others seem to have run to conclusion. I guess these didn't have a minimum of 10 players set, and the administrative department decided to let them run! Madness. Infact, the €3k game only paid out €2,400 (€1,500 for first, and €900 for second). I hope Boss Media pay these costs (and don't pass them on to the partners). Looks like to have been a good day for 'petmate'. He won the €3k gtd (just 2 runners), and the €6k gtd with just 9 runners! A total pickup of €4,500 for an hour and a half's work in total, minumum outlay (probably less than €50), and only 10 competing players spread across both tournaments. I guess he must have disconnected shortly after winning the €6k, as less than 20 minutes later another €3k gtd started and completed, again with just 2 players!! Madness!. Incidentally, the €10k game was cancelled.

I am pretty gutted about this. I was going to reg for the 6k but thought no point if the network was having problems.
Seems like it carried on with 9 sit outs. Damn might have won 3k for nothing there.

At the moment it looks that way. Both the €3k games, and the €6k too.
