Default internet poker v real life table

Think i maay be giving up playing on line soon.Tired of chasers who play terrible hands and whove made no effort to learn game always hitting lucky. Some interesting comments have been made about online game recently which really should be renamed luckiest chaser or biggest cheat wins.Mike Mattosouw said "very few good players win on line", done Brunson said to an opponent "you're not playing internet players here son", and another said "its easy to hit fours online", sorry if this upsets anyone but advice to good players don't play online you have bigger chance of making money or being successful on real life tables

Agree with you for the most part. But as you increase the stakes and get to $55+ sit and goes (or the equivalent tables) then players start to get a bit more 'normal' and you can use your poker magic on them!

This requires some serious bankroll. For me im a solid player whos read books (Im goign through the Harrington's as we speak.) and I would love to play Live but I dont really have the money to support it. The reason I play online is because i can make a roll out of freerollaments. But i get sick when suckouts rape me down to busto.

Guess I just need to give Live ago at the low levels and try to build it that way?

Live poker beats online hands down and you're truly right on what you're saying! But online is always accesible when you fancy a game!
And you're right about hitting quads too! In live tournaments you're very luky to see it happen once or twice during the whole tournament, but online you see it too many times and shows what a scam online poker is at times!

I don't play live but surely its only because there are more hands played online that you see more *rigged* stuff.

Online poker is rigged you know, its all one big conspiracy against YOU. They have been planning it since YOU joined the site.

You really need to watch some more live tournements. There are plenty hands won with quads and str flushes. Take the WSOP main event if you could get a HH for every table and every hand played im sure it wouldn't look too disimilar to an internet MTT.

Agree that live poker does require some extra skills but not that internet poker is rigged towards the chasers

Another point worth considering is the "embarrassment factor" that stops so many ridiculous plays from occurring in live games. People are less likely to play like a tw@t in a live game for fear of everyone branding them retarded, whereas online this doesn't happen to anything like the same degree. Consequently you'll see more suckouts online purely by virtue of the fact that people are willing shove in with much weaker hands.

However bad a run you may find yourself on, there's no way it's rigged. The sites aren't stupid enough to take the risk of doing that when they can happily just take their rake risk-free.

QFT

You know when youre in a tournament and you get fed up because its some shitty little thing and you decide to just piss it away on a "hunch" that isnt really very good? You do it because all you have to do is close the window that says PCUK and do something else. Cant do that live since you then have to take the walk of shame out of the Card Room.

I see far more bad plays live than I do online anyway. I play worse live than I do online for a start.
