Statement from PokerNews re their player Tiffany Michelle and Ultimate Bet spons deal

So, PokerNews have dropped Ultimate Bet advertising. Did they do this after the super account scandal, or just now after this recent turn of events with Tiffany Michelle? It sounds from the article that it's the latter - in which case why only now?

Sounds like pokernews is throwing a righthook at UB.

I dont think the superaccount stuff has any revelance, but becuase they know this will get a lot of coverage they decided to bring it up now to add another sour note to the story. Fair play to them for doing that

One thing that winds me up about modern business in general. What has happened to the good old fashioned verbal agreement and hand shake? There is massive lack of loyality and people not sticking to their word now a days.

Maybe iam a bit niave and old fashioned, but if i say iam going to do something and have a verbal agreement/hand shake then i stick to it. Simple!

Conclusion: Do not trust ANY female poker player.

I think she was probably stupid enough not to realise she was breaking her contract by accepting sponsorship from somebody else. Everybody else still in was doing it so she probably thought it was OK for her too as well.
