Every month Poker.co.uk's top 10 most profitable players, and top 10 rakers, are invited to play the Poker.co.uk Invitational. See here: http://www.gambling.co.uk/forums/pok...-19-15gmt.html
June and July's Invitational have both been €2000 value added with a buy-in of €200 + €15. Both times 20 players were invited, but only 7 decided to play. The question I'd like answering is... If you qualified would you rather play: a) €2000 value added with a buy-in of €200 + €15. 20 runners max. Top 3 paid. Or b) €2000 freeroll. Top 3 paid.

Hi Matt,
I never even knew about the last tourney!!!! Of course I would have played ....did you email me?...Ooops may have misread this...are the tables shown in the link for next month?...If so please ignore my stupidity. In answer to your qestion .. I personaly think that the buy-in may be a little more than most of P.Co>UK players would like so a freeroll would possibly be the best route though... how about a $100 entry fee? ...that may help with more runners. |

The Invitational is in addition to highest rakers / most profitable players being invited to the occasional festival or two.

At the end of the month I email the top 10 players in each category the password for the event. I think you were just outside the top 10 so missed the invite. However, it was mentioned on a couple of publicity mails I sent out in June and July (from: noreply at poker.co.uk so may have gone straight to your spam folder). I also sent you an email from me on 28th May telling you you'd almost qualified p.s. Where's my article? lol

Well in that case i agree with the prof. Not many people will enter a €200 game. Even the balla roll i am on i would not pay that

Yes, I think you might be right, and that probably explains the low number of runners on the last two games. I'll see how the vote pans out, but at the moment it looks like the next Invitational is going to be a freeroll.

I would like to see a knockout game, with bounty paid if you knock someone out,
I think that would be insanely cool |

I hear Alex the Bookie (gouty on this forum) won the £500 main event. lol, the email said something along the lines of "you've almost qualified, there's only 3 days left so get playing and you might make it!!". Quite a useful email imo lol
