Normal.

Not much you could have done, imio (in my inexperienced opinion) 66% of the time you would win by shoving the flop and only get called called by a better hand.

How you played it was fine imo. Your preflop bet size helped you to push the flop without it appearing as an over bet or allowing the guy to call with pot odds.

Just got UL!

RELOAD and carry on

yer as raiser said hes only going to call with a better hand against your shove and by the looks of the preflop raising he most likely has a pair and so hes only going to call if he has trips, however if you checked or raised a little bit hes going to eventually get all his chips in against you and you can't really fold aces so you would have lost the pot on the river anyway,
this is just my opinion though

Agree with all the above. Poker's shit, which is why stuff like this happens.

I'm a bit of a gaylord at cash, but the only way I'd ever slow down with aces in that kind of spot is on a TJQ suited board, or similar. If he shoves there I'm still probably getting them in though.

Drop down to 50/1e and ONLY play that. play it for a month (short period i know) and post your figures and iam sure one of the cash game experts (which iam not one of them) will give you some feedback about your stats.

If you are learning do not play 1/2. You can lose a lot of money learning at that level.

A lot of players tend to "learn" at .25/.50NL or .50/1NL
