SAVAGŁ aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
can i have those seconds spent reading that back please?
seriously tho, at micro a decent raise gets 80% of players to fold a made hand imo.
u have to think.. if I had an ace, would I shove it ?
u also have to think.. it's unlikely someone has an ace, given there are 2 on the flop (altho ur often outkicked if u call this shove)
Good fold imo.
I wonder what Cendie had - perhaps QsJs? That's about as close a hand as I can find to justifying the call. Actually, he may have had a tiny pair and read the obvious bluff.
CASH POKER is basically all about...MONEY.
Play at stakes that mean something to you and your oponents or....Don`t play.
Leave the fools to pretend .....
Yes - I found the call more puzzling.
(Shortly after someone bet into strength on the river with 22 with two overpairs on the board - legitimate, barely, but not good - wondered whether I should push 32o a little harder in future !)
but what about bankroll management and all that ...
I put €100 into poker.uk and tripled this up playing mostly 5c/10c (which was hard work)
When I tried 50c/€1 I get AA pot/pot semi-bluff all in raised by KQo who flukes a straight (no pair or flush draw) when an Ace comes on the river which is 100 gone just like that. Tilt the rest away.
Now I'm starting again. Maybe I should stick to tourneys because I'm better at those but I am trying to master the cash game.
Do you suggest just by-passing these stakes ?
firstly congrats at tripling ur roll at micro - a great achievment.
IMO a 300E roll is not sufficient for 1/2, I would play .5/1 with maybe 1k as a safety net. Gotta be able to withstand a 5-10 BI downswing.
(u can maybe play with less BR if you are crushing that level)
there are terrible players at all levels.. if you select tables carefully and keep a fishlist it will improve your ROI significantly. Feel free to take some shots at higher levels than you can afford if you win like 6-10 BIs imo, but be ready to drop down if you lose.
have a look at carterfish's BR management article (i haven't read it, but its prob a useful read).
This is Alex Ross? The original Alex Ross? The Alex Ross that has been posting on these forums for years?
I am not mistaking you for another Alex Ross am I?
...i am sure i am reading Alex Ross giving out bank roll management advise?
ROFL. FUCKIN HILARIOUS!!! BEST POSTING EVER
