How come I can't get a starting hand in seat 7?, wether it's a stt or mtt it's the kiss of death for me!
Surely you would have to change seats for every hand to stay in seat 7? How in God's name did you even notice? OCD?
Lol. What I meant is how did he notice? At the beginning of a STT you are only in Seat 7 every 10th hand so it would take a lot to notice that it is jinxed. I might notice early, middle or late position but unlikely to notice an actual Seat number. Surely then as players go out, Seat 7 eventually becomes the button? Or am I being really blonde and not understanding what we mean when we refer to a Seat number? Am I getting blonder by the minute by trying to explain my flawed thinking?
Seat 7 never changes. Your position changes but never your seat number.
When your at the casino and they say move to table x seat 3 you dont see where they are in the hand and sit next to the BB. You sit in seat 3.
PS good luck when you get into eggheadslol

wow and wow again, 5 replies to a post and there was me thinking someone would have an answer, instead I get someone who must only play bingo online and mis-clicked somehow!
First reply to this thread seems satisfactory? In cash games just never sit in seat 7. And remember that in tournaments every player has the same chance of sitting in that seat so nobody is at a disadvantage before the tournament starts. 90% of the time you'll be able to play without getting bad beat but also with the knowledge that you can go all in against seat 7 and they will always lose even if you are drawing dead.

tbf i used to have a thing about seat 10. First time I played it the dealer stunk of b/o. Put me off my game.
So when I see positions and I am in that seat, i always check the dealer out first.
Smell nice= I play. (i do get weird looks when I do this though)
Look like greasy mop head who has not shaved for a week (not just male) = I go home.
