Just a few thoughts about my play and what I should be putting the SB on here and whether I should be pushing...
Hand goes like this (0.25/0.50c)-
QQ UTG, varying my play I limp it (prob were it all goes wrong) because it is an aggressive full ring table and I'm hoping to 3 bet someone pre flop as I'm certain there will be a raise...
Anyway, a really lose maniac playing at 45/38 over 200+ hands raises to $3 from the button and the SB flat calls.
The SB is playing incredibly tight at 6/6 over just about 100 hands but is aggressive when he enters a pot.
So at this point the maniac could have anything and I'm happy getting it all in with QQ vs him but what should we be putting the SB on, who is very tight?
My thoughts are the SB must recognise the button is a maniac so I'm thinking a pocket pair looking to stack him so this is a good spot to 3 bet and hopefully isolate the maniac.
So I 3 bet the pot and raise it to $13. The button re raises again to $30 and the SB insta calls.........
I was just still intent on isolating the maniac but thoughts as to what I should be thinking now would be appreciated.
This is a shove and then probably a sigh when you're crushed by the button's AA or the AK gets there.
"You have to give way too much action to get way too much action"
Aidan, trust me , the button is weaker than QQ well over half the time here, he is a maniac.
It is the SB's flat call to the 4 bet that worries me...
Anyway, the button called with 77 which was better than expected but the SB had flat called twice with AAReally stumped me his play because had he re raised the button's $15 raise, I would 100% have folded, so perhaps he trapped me well, whether he knew it or not!
Scrote, nothing wrong with limping UTG with a big hand when 8 players are yet to make a move, especially aggressive tablesI got the raise and call I wanted to make my move just unlucky to walk into someone playing AA very passively.
LOL, I play full ring when 6 max is kicking my ass!!!!!! Variance is a lot lower...
Just had two sets of aces bust on same table within an hour at the 6 max games- guy bet out on the flop, I raised with AAA and he pushed with Qs 8s and hit the river when the flop was Ah 7s 3s flop. I hate losing with AA as it is, but after I've flopped a set as well
I'll never for the life of me understand the people who just see the flush draw and push all in, but I've learned to leave the table for an hour or two straight after an idiot pulls off a crazy move like that before I tilt my bankroll away![]()
