how annoying

Just finished 13th in the 3000 euro gtd top 10 pay

I was sitting quite good and then from the SB I raised with AQ suited to which the BB raises back at me. I pushed really hoping for a fold but they called with 77 I hit a Q on the flop but they hit a 7 on the turn

That halved my stack I then went card dead untill I got KK in the BB and everyone folded round to me typical
I then raised with 88 in the sb got two callers including BB I pushed on a board of 2,4,6 and BB called with QQ noooooooooooooooooo

I was sitting in 4th before all this with about 30,000 and there was about 4 players with less then 10,000

I will be fliping out like a ninja for the rest of the evening

That's kind of what happened to me, except i made it to 5th place (top 18 get paid, quite a nice pay - $4 entry, $40 pay, $200 for winner).

I was playing very well i thought, had a nice chip stack - everyone had about 40k mark apart from chip leader having 120k.
I got K9, not the best hand but thought i'd give it an aggressive play on this one - raised pre flop one caller (chip leader and BB).
Unfortunately, i played it crap - tried to get him to fold, he almost did with the flush possibility out there but he called my King high with a pair of tens

Did so well, then just moved at the wrong moment. If i had got him to fold i would have been equal chip leader.
I thought i had made a nice profit on it and was going to make try and get my chances of winning it much greater.
But didn't pay off.

I could of made it to the FT easy but it would have meant being uber tight and throwing everything away. If that last board had come Ace/King high I might of not made the move but with 3 baby cards I thought I was doing right

When I got the KK though I thought I was going to get some action for sure as the previous 6/7 hands had somebody moving in to pick up the blinds. The other annoying thing was it was the same player that halved my stack and then knocked me out.

It was 60 euros for 10th and 910 for 1st

I'll give it another try tonight
