I can understand why she's done it, and why it's got a lot of attention but meh, it doesn't give me any more reason to watch than it did beforehand and it doesn't really do anything to raise the profile of women in the game.

it always bugs me when stuff does this. if I want sex I go see my girlfriend, or find some drunk lady, or get a hooker, or check out free internet porn, or break out the rohypnol, or call up "live granny's waiting for your call". All of those things I would do specifically to target a bit of the old in out in out, or at the very least get myself off thinking about it. Therefore in the rest of the aspects of my life, poker being one, I have no need to think about, or look for, sexual gratification.

porno crossovers bug me. I watch poker to see people playing poker, if I want some eastern european with stupid hair getting naked, I go watch porn. there doesn't need to be any crossover in the middle.

good luck to her though, if it got her sponsorship deals and some attention then fair enough. That sort of thing is shortlived though. It might just be the big break she needs, and fairplay to her for giving it a go if it is. Alternatively we might have all forgotten who she is in a year's time if she doesn't establish herself as a successful, respected, poker player. I don't think so. Unless his surname's Rivers, or Hartwell, or Minns, it's unlikely. I'd be happy to find another poker player in my family though. I managed to convince them all to play poker at Christmas. Even printed off lists for all of them of the hand rankings etc. They were great, my stepdad folded Quad Kings on the river to my full house because "nah, not putting that much in" when I put in a decent sized bet. I wanted to cry
