Hi I perfer not avatars... if im on one site with them i usually block their image but keep my own and place my self at the bottom of the table. Just a bit of a habit doesnt really aid or hinder in any way.

I personally love the avatars on stars as i tend to pick on the idiots who put pictures of their baby, dog or loved one as they tend to look retarded.

no idea whether it's a conscious thing or subconscious but I've always done better on sites that just have empty seats or avatars. No pretend people. I used to love the old blue square software that they used on paddy power as well. Maybe it all goes to my most successful run and biggest wins coming on that site with that software? I don't know. I do really like something simple though rather than flashy pretend people, and something like pkr REALLY doesn't appeal to me. I can see why it does to others but definitely not for me.

I know there's a video on card runners where they say they play with the avatars on at FTP as they do give a bit away about a player, but not for me...
I personally have them off as they're distracting to the game. The only graphics you need are the poker ace HUD next to each player to tell who the fishies are!!
